    The CODcr rapid analyzer can quickly and accurately measure COD indicators in surface water, groundwater, urban sewage, and industrial wastewater, with direct concentration reading; It can be widely used in sectors such as water plants, food, chemical, metallurgical, environmental protection, and pharmaceutical industries. The COD detection instrument is a combination of a single fixed wavelength and fixed purpose spectrophotometer. It uses the principle of spectrophotometry to measure various parameters, and establishes a linear curve between the concentration color development degree and absorbance of different parameters in the instrument. The instrument identifies the color and obtains the concentration of the tested water sample. This instrument adopts a fully Chinese menu, which is easy to operate, convenient to use, and has high measurement accuracy.

    CODcr is a chemical oxygen consumption index measured using potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) as an oxidant. The chemical oxygen demand measured using potassium dichromate as an oxidant in a strongly acidic solution.

    CODcr refers to the oxygen demand measured using potassium dichromate as an oxidant, which is the value of COD measured using the potassium dichromate method. Some factors may affect the COD value, resulting in CODcr ≠ COD. Theoretically, COD>CODcr, but in practical applications, CODcr represents COD.

    1、 Determination method of CODcr0-150mg/L

    ① Take 5ml of purified water and the tested water sample into two digestion tubes, add 9 drops of CODcr reagent I, 1ml of CODcr reagent II, and 5ml of CODcr reagent III to each tube, and mix well. Put two digestion tubes into a 165 ℃ digestion vessel for 23 minutes, and after 23 minutes, take out two digestion tubes and cool them to room temperature in cold water.

    ② Pour the water sample from the purified water digestion tube in step ① onto the scale mark on the small colorimetric dish. Use a tissue or soft cloth to wipe off the water stains and fingerprints on the colorimetric dish. Place it in the sample slot holder below, cover the sample slot cover, move the cursor to the zero calibration key, press the OK key to calibrate, and when the calibration is complete, it will automatically return to the currently selected range.

    ③ Pour the water sample from the digestion tube containing the tested water sample in step ① onto the scale line on the small colorimetric dish. Use a tissue or soft cloth to wipe off any water stains and fingerprints on the glass sample slot, place it in the sample slot holder below, cover the slot lid, move the cursor to the detection button, press the OK button, and wait for a few seconds for the detection value to be displayed.

    2、 Determination method of CODcr 100-1000mg/L

    ① Take 3ml of purified water and the tested water sample into two digestion tubes, add 9 drops of CODcr reagent I, 1ml of CODcr reagent II, and 5ml of CODcr reagent III to each tube, and mix well. Put two digestion tubes into a 165 ℃ digestion vessel for 23 minutes, and after 23 minutes, take out two digestion tubes and cool them to room temperature in cold water.

    ② Pour the water sample from the purified water digestion tube in step ① onto the scale mark on the small colorimetric dish. Use a tissue or soft cloth to wipe off the water stains and fingerprints on the colorimetric dish. Place it in the sample slot holder below, cover the sample slot cover, move the cursor to the zero calibration key, press the OK key to calibrate, and when the calibration is complete, it will automatically return to the currently selected range.



  • ③ Pour the water sample from the digestion tube containing the tested water sample in step ① onto the scale line on the small colorimetric dish. Use a tissue or soft cloth to wipe off any water stains and fingerprints on the glass sample slot, place it in the sample slot holder below, cover the slot lid, move the cursor to the detection button, press the OK button, and wait for a few seconds for the detection value to be displayed.
